*Fun fact: in this picture I am doing a “foiliyage” technique. It’s where balayage (hand-painted highlights) meets traditional highlights.

What’s the difference between this technique and traditional foils or balayage? This technique allows me to create a more lived in look by not taking the color all the way up to the roots, allowing for a softer grow out…a.k.a no harsh line of demarcation all while getting the power of the lift the foil allows for.
