Hopefully by now, the drinks are out of your system and you can see straight to wash your face and remove all 129 bobby pins. Your hair might still be recovering from the night before between the teasing, hairspray, and dancing, but not to worry. Help is on the way.
It’s important to show your hair as much love as before if not even more now! Start by removing all hair accessories and pins, obviously. Begin by rinsing your hair with warm water to loosen up alllll that product. Next, use a high quality professional clarifying shampoo (NOT ones from Target or TJ Maxx - preferably your local salon. Ask your stylist what they recommend. Redken Hair Cleansing Cream is my favorite and one I use at home and in salon.) followed with another high quality hydrating shampoo. You may want to consider doing a deep conditioning treatment. Finally, finish with a leave-in conditioner to keep the ends hydrated. Add a lightweight oil for added shine. Let hair air dry if possible!
